MW3 could learn from Skyrim and Battlefield 3

I played UC3, beat it twice in 3 days and got the plat trophy. It was good.

Been playing Skyrim now for 3 days and I cannot stop playing it. This is one of the best games ever. With it being endless as well. You can go on and on!!! So the GOTY.

I finished MW3 today and went back to Battlefield 3 and..... Wow what a difference! BF3 definitely has better sound, better lighting and damage engine and the fighting gets tense. The story, while in flashback so far is better too. I actually felt the tension in the scene where (spoiler alert!!!) ...... one of the three russians hunting down the nuke was killed by a projectile from an explosion.

MW3 was more like you are along for the ride. By that I mean they didn't try hard enough to disguise the fact that you are playing on rails whereas in BF3 you think are making a difference sometimes. While not perfect, I'd rate BF3 higher ( single campaign wise, as I've not touched multiplayer) and highly recommend it to any FPS gamer who wants something with a bit more depth.
