Rayman: Origins sets a new standard for what current-generation 2D platformers can accomplish.
I've never actually tried a Rayman game...Is this one of those things where I could still get into it, or would a healthy dose of nostalgia be needed? Considering how good it sounds, I'm assuming/hoping it's the former.
I assume since Origins is in the title that it would be a good entry point for newcomers. I'm in the same boat as you but this game looks AMAAAAZING. I think I'm going to have to pick it up.
are very reminiscent of Earthworm Jim. Whoa Nelly! I downloaded the demo this morning but had to come to work. I will try it later. The first was a jaguar game but when Rayman 2 came out for the DC it was totally different and better in many ways.
You can check out the demo of it to see if you like it.
There's a demo? Awesome.
My kids and I loved the demo. The silky smooth visuals and art style are simply beautiful. Its definitely going under the xmas tree this year.
I bought it for myself & my 8 year old. It's great. Very endearing art style, quick, clever gameplay, very humorous. Just makes me grin when I play it.
wish this supported stereo 3D on PS3. Anyone that played hard boiled chicken in 3D I'm sure would agree.
Would anyone say it's better than New Super Mario Bros. Wii? I'm curious how they compare cause I still think that's the best 2D platformer around.
why compare them? each is a masterpiece along with Donkey kong country returns.. those are three best platformers in this gen
I love the demo im definitly not forgeting this great game.
