Hooked Gamers writes: "Assassin's Creed: Revelations was released yesterday across the globe, and while the game may have been highly anticipated amongst the franchise's fans...simply put, it's not a very good game."
They should take 2 years between every instalment...
could not agree more... the best game in the series (ACII) came after 2 years.
I like that AC II is really a trilogy. It doesn't feel over milked, but it is getting a bit much. Assasin's Creed III should just be a new timeline, a new story and close Desmonds Story too. The series doesn't need to go on forever, and they should not of made part II a trilogy if they wanted to go on for a long time. There is point where it will be too much. Just do up ACIII right (work on it for two years) and let it finish this generation up with a great closure.
i think ACIII will be in japan (watch embers)
I've not been disappointed with any of their yearly releases yet so keep 'em coming Ubi.
I don't understand what is bad about it? I'm loving it? I just wish there was more focus on Desmond
People just love giving shit to Assassin's Creed. Complaining about its yearly release, yet you hardly see any articles about COD's yearly releases.
They should go out with a bang with AC3 and then start working on a new franchise for next generation.
I agree. I like when stories end. Ubisoft should make AC3 go out with a bang and leave it there. Move onto something new. They should end the story. Its a bit like God of War series. I enjoy the games but story wise it should end with the third.
There shouldn't and Assassins Creed 3 until next gen
AC3 is coming out next year, and with good reason.
Well, isn't assassin's creed about 2012 and all that? I doubt they'll wait till 2013 to continue the story.
They aren't waiting. There's already a listing for Assassins Creed 2012 on my system at work. We've had Rainbow 6 listed for over a year now and we know that's actually coming so I really doubt this listing is wrong.
Well yeah, that's my point. I think they're gonna throw everything they have at this 2012 end of the world thing and strike while the iron's hot. If they wait, well, they'd shoot themselves in the foot.
they will continue to pump out more creed titles until the demand dies
Well the demand is high at the moment, and Ubisoft always strive to innovate each series. I think they'll stop making the games once they run out of ideas, regardless of demand.
This is getting old. We've seen 4 Assassin's Creed games, and only two of which are actual sequels. However, Ubisoft have my full pardon because the Assassin's Creed stories are among the best in gaming. I play Assassin's Creed for the story, and the story delivers every single time. Assassin's Creed: Revelations is the final chapter in Ezio's saga. Assassin's Creed 3 has been in development for some time now, and I can't wait to see it. I hate it when people lash out at quality games like Assassin's Creed and turn a blind eye to Call of Duty.
I know. Its discrimination against AC.
