Game Guys review - Battlefield 3

The DICE-developed EA title Battlefield 3 is a game that will keep gamers busy as the Dickens. That's as in Charles Dickens because it's truly a tale of two game modes. (Battlefield 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) B+/A+

I wonder if there would be an uproar at all if the next Battlefield or Call of Duty game omitted the single-player game altogether. We all know what all those players are buying the games for.

For cod, yeah. Battlefield, no. Fans of BF don't care whether SP is in or not, but with COD, a good amount of its success is in its SP.

I would be happy!

I don't play CoD, but if the next BF scrapped the SP I wouldn't shed a tear over it. The SP in BF3 was pretty decent and it gave me something to do while I was waiting for the cable company to replace my modem, but I wouldn't miss it if it were gone.
