I agree with the review overall.

But the weapons are supposed to be slow to unlock. People do tend to sink massive numbers of hours into BF and one of the problems with BC2 was that the unlocks were too fast.

I don't think the campaign should have any relevance to the review score AT ALL, most people probably havn't even played the campaign yet, I never will (havn't done the BC2 one either).

If it wasn't buggy and the maps weren't dumbed down for consoles then it would deserve 9/10.

The problem is this isn't supposed to be some RPG, it's an FPS and unlocks and all that progression shit is just annoying and pointless and boring, I'm glad BC2 slightly appeased to the stupid COD crowd but not to a far extent, BF3 takes it much too far, ridiculous.

Im assuming you talking about the single player campaign. i guess im not most people then coz i play the single player campaigns of all my games. i want to know how single player is. if its fun to play. i mean im not paying full price for half a game <multiplyer only> if single player sucks and multiplayer rocks, i look for it cheaper. <mostly pre-owned> if it is a complete package <uncharted comes to mind , not being a fanboy> then i folk out full cash for day 1 buys.

You are not most people thats for sure. I wish BF3 didnt even come with a campaign. It is/was a waste of time for devs and players.

If the campaign was as good as Uncharted I still wouldnt play it. I would be to busy earning my unlocks and having an amazing time doing it.

This is a decent game, online could be better but overall its acctually pretty good
