Aonuma and Koji Kondo cried at Zelda concerts

Legend Of Zelda director Eiji Aonuma has admitted that he had tears in his eyes during the recent Legend Of Zelda 25th Anniversary concert. He wasn't alone. Zelda composer Koji Kondo also cried when he heard his music being played by the symphony orchestra.

Awesome. It would be surreal and probably overwhelming to have one's own work played by a symphony orchestra to such a large crowd of the most dedicated fans. I'm glad that these folks had a special moment. They deserve it for all of the entertainment they've brought us with these games.

I welled up a bit, can't lie. When you grow up on something like Zelda, and have all those memories attached to the games, like the first time you touched Hyrule Field on OoT or the catchy melody that plays on Dragon Roost Island in Wind Waker, it's a great feeling to hear all of those memories come back in such an epic way. Haters gonna hate. Dat passion is right.
