On November 14th, an event was held for the Japanese release of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3“, complete with a guest appearance from popular Japanese singer GACKT and a bizarre choreographed dance number!
As the narrator of the game’s Japanese commercials, GACKT stated, “As a fan of games myself, I’m happy to be a part of such a big franchise.” He then played a portion of MW3's co-op for the public and promoted the game by saying, “I’m not good at it, but even I can enjoy playing it. It takes time to make progress in a difficult game, but I want to become better, and for people enjoy the graphics and the realistic sensation.”
When asked about his opinion on gamer girls, GACKT responded, “I like watching girls play video games. When I watch a girl who’s good at video games, it makes me happy. I think 'she must have good reflexes and be very skillful!'”
GACKT then shared that he plays videos games when he travels to the countryside for live concerts. He explained, “I intend to play games calmly, but I get so into it that I can’t hear anything around me. I have the tendency to play games for a long time.”
The conference also featured a car, which is a limited edition JEEP Wrangler, Call of Duty model.
