Kotaku - The Micro Air Vehicle in Battlefield 3 is meant to be used to scout the battlefield, remotely spotting enemies. But in this video it becomes a tiny, mobile flying sniper platform.
Ouch! That's not good. BTW, if this was a COD article with the same glitch, I'd imagine the comments would be on page 2 by now. :D
Agreed, and the headline would read "MW3 game breaking glitch"
U could do this in bfbc2. Nothing new.
This isnt game breaking i parachute on top of silos your not suposed to be at all the time
You could always do stuff like this in BF games. IN 1942 you team mates could lie down on the wings of your airplane and you could drop them into the capture points. on BF2 your whole team could get on a planes wings and you could fly them in.
Nothing new, but shouldn't be possible. They could easily add a vis_blocker to the MAV so you cannot jump on it. Developers these days...really..
Did you ever develope in the area of a BF3? Or any AAA-Title for that matter? Thought so... Also: Your "vis_blocker" statement makes absolutely no fu**ing sense at all, for different reasons: a) VIS-Blocker? A VIS-Blocker seperates VISIBLE ROOMS from each other, so that the rendering doesn't take up to much resources (you know how you only render the visible room and bordering rooms instead of the whole level?) and has nothing to do with movement of the player. At all. b) I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, etc. doubt that BF3 - or to be accurate: Frostbite 2 - utilizes VIS at all because it is highly dependant on leveldesign. And I am talking about Quake-Leveldesign, not Battlefield-Leveldesign. You really shouldn't throw statements out which you don't even understand. Commentators these days...really.
lol That's a cool glitch
it doesnt work for me it just goes up without me :-(
yeah i see nothing wrong with it as long as you are able to kill the person. its cheap but so is using night vision scope on a day map.
This is actually pretty cool. I don't see a problem with it in terms of using it as a tool to get on top of a building or structure that is otherwise inaccessible, as in real life they would probably have usable ladders or other means of access to get there. Being limited to what you can and can't access sucks, especially in an open ended game like this.
