Crave Online's Aaron Seaney reviews the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Mass Effect and concludes:
"Honestly between game play, graphics, and story Bioware as successfully made it one step closer to perfection. If there were a game of the year for single player games this one would have my vote in an instant. I highly suggest skipping past the whole 'rent it to try' thing and just go purchase this game…of course that's only if you have an extra 100 plus hours to spare."
Final Score 9.5/10
Thanks to their innovative approach to gaming, RPGs like Dark Souls, Final Fantasy VII, and Dragon Quest left a significant impact on the genre.
ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.
GF365: "A friend makes the adventure all the more fun. Here are the best video game companions that will keep you company."
The Mass Effect N7 Day teaser has already been decoded, and it features Liara T'Soni talking about The Council, and The Geth can be heard too.
Better not bring back Shepherd from the dead with some half assed space magic.
@snowb420.
Yeah I saw that at the end of my play through as well. I think they will bring Shepard back….. or at least a mutant version turned villain. Lol
Can anyone honestly say this game has matched the heights that Knights and previous Bioware games achieved? In my opinion it falls way short, mainly down to bland story and character design, a frustrating battle system (should've either been a straight shooter or a turn based stats system) and an alarming lack of visual polish (stuttering framerate, texture problems and barren planets). I don't think the game is terrible, its just not the game i expect Bioware to put out after such a long development.
