There are Too Many Good Games Out There…Just Saying

GOS: "I would like to discuss an issue (if you really want to call it one) that gamers like myself might have. Do you find it hard to complete games?

Do you feel like you do not have enough time to gain trophies/achievements, or do you just stick to playing one game online?

What could be the cause of not being able to experience a game all the way through? I do not think the problem is in our gaming habits; it is that there are way too many good games out there. If you are a gamer with a range of tastes, then you will know exactly what I’m talking about." (3DS, Industry, PC, PS Vita, PS3, PSP, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360)

Can't even get Skyrim :(
kariyanine  +   1389d ago
Yeah, it seems like less titles got pushed this year which makes it seem extra crowded.
VampiricDragon  +   1389d ago
not really.

Most games are generic same looking pieces of shit.

im barely playing mass effect 2, i beat uncharted 3, still havent beat dark souls, i want to go back to heavy rain, i beat shadow of the colossus but not ico, i need to get skyrim, battlefield 3, assassins creed revelations, mass effect 3, twisted metal, and the mgs hd collection. yeah, there are tons of great games out there.

I haven't even finished Ass Creed 2, haven't touched RDR since my data was erased and my 15 hour save was deleted, and I haven't scratched the surface of DEMONS souls let alone dark souls

demons souls/dark souls will make your face like this

Its a good problem to have :)

I do have to say though i have damn near played all of them that have come out this year. Thank you gamefly!

It's even worse for me. There's games like God of War 3 that I love but haven't played past the first hour, and then there's games like White Knight Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, as well as Half Life 1 & 2 that I own but haven't even played yet. I'm creating such a large backlog, and University doesn't allow me to catch up :(
Ddouble  +   1389d ago
Yes my backlog is increasing but i can't leave a game i like without completing it. I'll rather experience the whole game before moving on to the next. I like to finish my plate.

Look at the bright side, at least we have all these good games, could just have Haze lol
wedgie  +   1389d ago
I think the window is the main problem-STOP CLUSTERING GAMES IN A MONTH AND A HALF WINDOW PLEASE. If they were spread out would be a little bit better, and would help some games not get lost under the awesomeness that we are currently seeing.

WAY TOO MANY GAMES!

I got Gears 3, Rage, Dark Souls, Arkham City, Uncharted 3, and bought ME2 off psn to replay before 3 drops. I still need Skyrim, Zelda, and The War in the North plus i still want some "older" games like dungeon siege 3 and dragon age 2. I was on a fps bender but now im back on another rpg binge. Dark Souls made me relapse lol. Il prob get mw3 for half off when i get skyrim (love kmart) and i still have 20 dollar coupon so both for 70 sounds pretty nice.
DonaldBeck  +   1389d ago
forgot to add deuse ex human revolution, that game is really amazing, i know trust me.
Yawnier  +   1389d ago
Should I bother to get Assassins Creed: Revelations right away if the only Assassins Creed game that I beat was the 2nd? Or should I play and beat brotherhood first before getting Revelations?

Such a damn big backlog, lol.

You miss out on quite a bit if you skip over Brotherhood, I suppose you could just watch a "LetsPlay" of it or read a summary though if you don't have the funds
jc48573  +   1389d ago
it gets worse every year. (moneywise)

It is so ridiculously crowded in November. But I can't wait to see the figures tallied up for the end of the year. Batman sold well, BF3 sold well, Uncharted 3 is going to do well, Gears 3, Zelda, MW3. I mean good Lord.

"WE WANT MORE GOOD GAMES AND LESS SHOVELWARE."

*More good games are released*

"STOP RELEASING TOO MANY GOOD GAMES."

Complainers.
Jagsrock  +   1383d ago
The more good games the better. Personally I don't buy that many games at once anyways so it's better for me if they all come out at once. That way I pick up the one or two I really want and in time the other 3 will drop in price. I'll pick them up at a later date, when there are no other good games to play for a cheaper price. Patience is key, nobody said you have to go buy them all at once.
