GTA V Remains TBA after Latest Take-Two Financial Report

Last night Take-Two Interactive Software released the latest financial figures for 2011 and reiterated its financial outlook for the fiscal year 2012, ending March 31, 2012. Included in the report was all of the games on Take-Two's latest product launch calendar up to the end of the company's 2013 fiscal year on March 31, 2013.

That's normal. No sense in releasing an expected release date this early in its development cycle.

The first trailer looked pretty far in development, at least further than I predicted

It's my understanding that the game goes through various phases of graphical update, but they definitely produce early pieces for advertising and demoing. Similar to how the God of War 3 demo, that they used for about a year and a half straight, saw very little update from the first time it was shown and the more than a year later release of the game.

For a multiplatform open world game, the game looks like a PS3 exclusive IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 is the lead console.

The prospect that the game can look even better is incredible.

Rockstar definitely knows how to make quality games that have a lot of replay value and playtime. However, as a PS3 owner they haven't made a good port so far (L.A Noire is developed by team bondi).
