Marooners' Rock Review: PowerUp Heroes (Kinect)

Chris writes: "While enjoying elementary school recess in the late 80′s, my friends and I played various games of the imagination, from X-Men to G.I. Joe, and from Super Heroes to Street Fighter. You have never known joy if you didn’t spend 30 minutes a day running around shouting, “HADOUKEN! NO… NO! SNAKE EYES CAN’T BLOCK A HADOUKEN WITH HIS NINJA POWERS, YOU BIG BUTTHEAD!” Now, Ubisoft’s PowerUp Heroes lets me combine my childhood imagination of Super Heroes and Street Fighter into something with tangible, visible results, and it does it splendidly." (PowerUp Heroes, Xbox 360) 85/100

Some people really like this. Wher is my demo? Drop the price already!

It does suck that there isn't a demo. As for the price, that's the only part I was really torn on. For some people, $49.99 will be too expensive, and $39.99 will be a better price point. For others, the fun of seeing your childhood playground imaginations in front of you will make the $49.99 price point worthwhile.
