It's a shame that some of these old school games were quite impressionable on many gamers but they didn't receive the attention they deserved.
Hah, Freedom fighter was awesome, was one of the first games on my xbox i think (: And star wars battlefront was/is amaaazing! loved it how you can play as anything from star wars, jedi, sith (lord vader ftw) or the big ass walkers. And even space combat! was sure a loot of fun! (: I think im actually gonna play it now! Good list!
XIII got high reviews upon release and I quickly stopped playing it because it just wasn't substantial feeling enough. Unlike Jet Set Radio or The Wind Waker, the cel shading did not significantly add to what was like a Goldeneye homage. Half Life Episode 2 was good but maybe there aren't more calls for Half Life Episode 3 because of the boredom of Half Life Episode 1. Just bring out Half Life 3 instead. Grim Fandango , like the later Escape from Monkey Island, was a clunky kind of game where you have to have a solution sheet in order to be able to solve it. It looked good but , really, with Bioshock since out, anyone who wants to play an art deco themed game is catered for. Curse of Monkey Island might be less deep feeling but at least most people will finish it.
