When I read the title I thought it said "Xbox Live Implementing Bacon Feature". I got really excited for a moment.

Bacon makes everything better. OT, this beacon feature is cool but I'm most looking forward to Skype, YouTube HD, Cloud saves, and TV services. I wonder if after these features are implemented people will still save Live isn't worth it? Hm probably.

Skype would be nice and the LiveTV services will be fantastic, but for a gamer I think the beacon feature will be huge.

One of the hardest things I find is a group of people that want to play what I want and do what I do. This solves that problem and I expect this to as popular as the party system.

I got into the beta program (hopefully my interface updates soon) I'm really looking forward to the social features finally no more asking around "Wanna play something?"

I'm actually very excited about this update coming to LIVE and the 360. Massive amount of features incoming and the new look is nice. Just keep making Xbox LIVE better. I can already tell xbox live next-gen is going to be a beast...but hopefully not a beast on our pockets.

this beacon feature is a really nice innovative thing. Hopefully that can stop some of my "invite" spamming friends who just sends invites to everyone on their list hoping for somebody to join them...
