I've had mine for about a week now and it certainly does make things better... Motorstorm is actually a game and playable now. The tracks in which they were stupid enough to make them too dark and no headlights are navigatable if only because when you're about to hit something solid the controller vibrates like crazy now. So you're warned in advance of how rough the track you're on really is.

Resistance was a totally different experience and I feel bad for anyone who doesn't ahve rumble yet... cause they're handicapped. When I'm shot now online... I easily have more sense of what I'm doing than someone who doesn't have it. you'll know what I mean if and when you get one.

i want one so bad...i think play-asia sells em way to expensive....this is bird$hit, i don't see why Sony can't release it in NA & Europe this year...

Motorstorm has always been a "game", rumble or no rumble. I like the idea of rumble returning, but don't think it "makes" the game. I'll beat you without it any day. Let's go, you know the name. 8D

Its rare for a Sony boy to admit Sony made a mistake good on you

Next gen gaming isnt next gen without rumble...enjoy it PS3 owners...games will all of a sudden be so much better

I think the problem was limited quantities, so I guess they decided to concentrate them on just a few territories instead of spreading them out really thin.

I've had mine for about a week as well...

If nothing else, they will be worth it for the more solid feel compared to the original SixAxis...

Ratchet and Uncharted both rumble, as well as every PS2 game I've tried in my PS3. And it seems like any demo released after the 1.94 firmware update has rumble enabled.

Now if only Infinity Ward would put out a rumble patch for CoD4... :-|

From my experience with ps2 is that like any feature, its only good when used properly. Some games were terible with it, while others were great. I think having the rumble back is a blessing and a curse. Is there a way to turn it off other than in-game options?

Marceles3436d ago

Yes, when you push the PS home button, there's a rumble on/off option. Or you can play with the sixaxis and never have to worry about rumble :).

I love the light controller so I will still keep mines but I will get a rumble. I dont really care for it but I will get one.
