That means a better attach rate for PS3 since there are more Xbox 360s.

But is this US or worldwide?

And does it really matter, especially when talking about Ubisoft games?

@doctorstrange:
Then considering the practical non-gap between the two systems, neck-and-neck is about right.

Well not according to PS3 fans. According to them over 30% of 360s are RROD (not arguing that though) and are re-buys. So that means there are much less 360s out there. If that's the case and since PS3 and 360 are almost the same install base now, then atleast 30% of PS3 are YLOD and BR players.

"there are more xbox" not sure anymore, but way more exclusives on ps3, so more games sold obviously.

EDIT : [email protected], new account (7 november)for old fanboytroll : just kick it again !

It's now down to the genre of game, which platforms the titles were on previously or the marketing. Install base is so close, it barely factors into the equation.

those ps3s still cost to much:-/

gamingdroid2111d ago

lol...

Are you trying to say the PS3 doesn't provide enough value to justify the cost?

Personally, I think in terms of pricing the PS3 is a steal.

BigWoopMagazine2111d ago

Well uh, yeah, obviously, but as the third biggest game publisher in the world they do have a significant impact on the industry, without a doubt. Therefore, still worth paying attention to.

Focus2110d ago

The US is the biggest market for games, bigger than Europe and UK combined but people still say it isn't the world during npd reports, therefore I can certainly say that the 3rd biggest publisher is not the world
