GameZone's Joe Donato shares his tips for survival and success in EA's Battlefield 3.
This is a must read for anyone new to the series.
Yep I'm hoping more people do this stuff
That article rocked my socks.
great list, completely true. I wish more people did this stuff. Whats with no one spotting anything its annoying.
Some good tips. I'd say with the jet and choppers it's not so much about finding the right control scheme but just sticking at it. I used to be a decent pilot back on bf2/bc/bc2 but when I jumped in a chopper on BF3 i thought the controls we're broke. I was going to try different conrol schemes but I just stuck at it and now I'd say I'm better than most I've encountered so far, especially in terms of actually attacking ground targets rather than just other aircraft. And the point about spotting. I do it all the time but I agree a lot don't. It's so easy to do though and makes a big difference. If you spot someone at range and you have an assault rifle chances are you wont be able to kill them so instead spot and a team mate nearer the enemy can get the kill. It's even more useful for decent pilots. Say I'm in a chopper, if I see a tank get spotted providing i've got a clanmate in the gunner seat we'll usually take it out in one pass
Oh I thought this was COD. All this stuff is too complicated. I just wanna camp with a shotgun.
