Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review | TheGameEffect

Naughty Dog's latest engulfs the player in flash and substance to create an experience that doesn't allow them to stop and consider some of the games flaws. It's hard to care about the rigid platforming, the linear structure, and the less than perfect gunplay when you're hanging out the back of a crashing plane, dodging falling crates, shooting thugs, and trying not to get blown off into the abyss of the Rub al' Khali desert. Suffice it to say that Uncharted 3 takes an unrelenting hold on the player and sends them on an exhilarating ride of deceit, intrigue, and discovery.
