Who the hell is this: why we can't stop loving Mario

Nightmare Mode looks at the history of Mario, and why he's had such success while Sonic has floundered in his own filth (his own filth being Sonic the Werehog). In the end, Mario is likened to a delicious pot roast, while Sonic is day old sushi. Mario is the Beatles, and Sonic is Soundgarden.

And, in the end, a jab at Mario's biggest failure. (Culture, Mario Galaxy 2, Sonic Generations, Super Mario 3D Land)
