GamingTale | Battlefield 3 Review - PS3

The Battlefield series is one of the longest running and appreciated first person shooter series in the gaming scene. When Battlefield 1942 was released nearly a decade ago, the whole genre of multiplayer first person shooters was revolutionized and forever changed the way gamers play online. DICE created an absolutely groundbreaking multiplayer game which encouraged teamwork, strategy and coordination. Now, nearly ten years later they once again deliver another stunning masterpiece, which further raises the standard of all first person shooter games. Battlefield 3 is a direct statement from DICE that they are still capable of creating an absolutely captivating and extraordinary game and is able to withstand the ultimate test of time. (Battlefield 3, EA, PS3) 95/100

Battlefield3 badly needs bots. I'll get this game when the ultimate version comes out with all the DLC and bots. Or wait for the Frost Bite 2 Bad Company version that will hopefully include bots. Am I the only one that really misses bots?

Why do you want bots when you can easily join and play against real players on full servers?

If you want to practice your aiming skills play some rounds of co-op (which can be played publicly as well).

well admittingly I wouldn't want bots if it can't be done properly and bots in Battlefield3 would be quite difficult because to play it right you have to play as a team.

But sometimes I just want to try out a few things, strategies, goof around, or just get a quick session where I can quickly jump in and out without waiting for servers or dealing with lag.

I do that with other games that have bots and get enjoyment out of them so I just wish Battlefield3 would also have that option. It doesn't break the game but I do think it would have been a BIG plus if it did have bots.
