Friday Slide: Game Design Vs. Level Design

Players can exhaust a finite amount of content more quickly than randomly or procedurally-generated gameplay, leaving them eager to buy a new game or additional content for the game they already have. It’s good for developers’ bottom lines, but is it good for players? (Cut the Rope, Dev, Drop7, iPad, iPhone, Mobile, NetHack, Scrabble)
