Playing a lot of video games can lead to some interesting behavioral patterns. This article brings to light some of the worst game-related maladies.
After playing Blast Corps, during the N64 days, I wanted to drive my dad's car into a building. Still do.
My name is Southsidesam, and I have OCRD. I can't stand it when my clip is missing even one round...*begins to sob* It's okay, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
Everyone on N4g," Hello Southsidesam."
right there with ya! Alright i cant be alone on this anyone having played Infamous which is estentially a TPS, when i pick it up after not playing for a while & start shoting lightning i have fought the urge to "reload" Cole. Come on i cant be alone on this can I?
The negative effects of OCRD(such as getting owned while reloading) can quickly be remedied with use of a trusty side arm ;D
Haha, this is hilarious. I totally laughed, cause I do exactly that with the ammo/reloading thing. I'd like to kill those headset people, though.
I have the reload problem too. I tend to reload right after killing someone, wanting to be fully loaded and ready to take on the next. But sometimes that leads me to death. As I didn't see the other person in the room standing there blowing my brains in as I am helplessly reloading. bastard.
For me... it's perfectionism! It is incredibly bad for me, when I play any RPG and any game with player choice. I'm so bad, that I sometimes end up hitting a wall in the game, and end up restarting from scratch, and in worse cases, I continually restart a new file! I don't know why, but it's usually quite impossible to get everything in a first run in a game, but it bothers me so much that I'm missing out on stuff (I get really compulsive in RPGs, where if I find that I missed out on a chest, it really irritates me). Edit: Right now, I'm playing Mass Effect 2... I'm trying my best to do a blind Paragon run, but I already got some Renegade points and it's pissing me off!
Its true. Im a collector and a reloader. Lock me up now please.
Ha ha. lolz.
