Because it seems to be outstanding and I want it right now.

And we keep hearing that the psp is dead.

Seen a bit of a boost lately that for sure. Especially in the East.

Out with Japan(a country where the ps2 is still going strong) the psp is almost dead.

I'll get excited for this when it releases where I live.

jacksonmichael2273d ago

So you're only excited for stuff that's already out? What a weird way to live...

Since the Vita is backwards compatible with the PSP, assuming the PSP was "dead", just because the Vita will soon be released would be just as foolish as assuming the DS was "dead" because the 3DS is out.

The PSP is still a huge market, and there's little reason for publishers to not begin to make crossplat titles with the 3DS -- the PSP version might be slightly lower quality, but not by much. The only reason they aren't doing it yet, is due to the severe lack of 3DS'es in the wild.

I think from here on SE will make a Vita version for the west, then release the vita for Japan for maximum sales.
