Capcom's Smurfs' Village will be one the top grossing mobile games of 2011, but the company wants to do better.
At least that's what it told investors when it was asked 'What's your goal for Snoopy's Street Fair?', which is the new social mobile game from Capcom's Beeline label.
Digitally Downloaded writes: "What makes good Farmville-style game? I would argue it’s three things; balancing the time it takes rewards to come in with the powerful psychological effect of withholding gratification, a charming personality through the theme and characters; and a wide range of things to collect to keep people coming back for more."
AppGamer: Capcom and Beeline made Freemium their own with the excellent Smurf's Village, but can they take another well loved franchise and make it a success on iOS?
Touch Arcade: On your first look at Snoopy's Street Fair [Free], you'll probably feel a warm glow of nostalgia. It might be for Charles Schulz' classic Peanuts comic strip or television specials like A Charlie Brown Christmas. But you also might be thinking of something a little more recent. Like, say Beeline Interactive's big hit, Smurfs' Village [Free].
