In a recent video interview AusGamers had with THQ's Huw Beynon for Metro: Last Light (not to be confused with their E3 interview), Huw talks extensively about the visual benchmark the game is setting on PC, the modest PC it's been being demoed on, and that with new hardware clearly on the horizon for the desktop platform, that the game is "really only going to look better".
"We’re already using some of the same DX11 techniques that we did last time, but at this stage we’re still quite a long way from release," he told us. "Hardware’s going to change over the next 12 months; there’ll be more things that we can do. The engine itself is very, very scalable, so... I don’t mean to boast, but we’re not really pushing the hardware at the moment."
