Gamestyle thoroughly enjoyed Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (ITSP). The main campaign was an engaging spin on the Metroidvania genre as you assumed the role of a lone alien battling all manner of nefarious beasties through maze-like alien-world levels in a quest to save your home planet. Balanced gameplay, intuitive controls and a beautiful art style made ITSP one of XBLA’s standout titles of the year.
