Sony Computer Entertainment of America has announced that the company has noticed a substantial amount of demand for the PlayStation Vita
Seems like there is a lot of people excited for it. It seems like the perfect portable right now. I know I'm excited for it.
perfect how? cause its Sony?
Er no. There are lots of great games coming out for it, it has every control option you could want, great connectivity to psn, great graphics, and well, there just haven't been any noticeable problems with it other than the battery life. But that's fine with me, because I loved my psp and it had the same life. You accusing me of being a sony fanboy? Dude, I actually perfered Nintendo every other gen but this one, though I still enjoyed the wii.
Honky Kong if you still don't know why it's popular then you have deeper problems than Sony ever did.
No, because it offers more than you're own personal favorite portable gaming device... Be it anything from Nintendo or even the entire PSP versions.
How long have you been in your cave? It's time to come out and get some sunlight or smell some flowers.
The console seems to be a wonderful piece of technology! I am however disappointed because of its battery life. Hopefully, SONY will increase the potential battery life when different iterations of Vita comes out.
battlefield for psvita holyy shitt i thoughtt of it n it will be awesome if it was come ahhhhhhh ommmmmggggg i just esssplodedd sorry OT. psvita. is cool :)
too bad the PS Vita missed the great CoD MW3 & BF3 western launch...but who knows maybe next year we will see these two juggernauts on the western PSV iterations. Uncharted Gravity Daze MGS collection
Well, online retails in Japan are sold out of units and 32 GB cards. I think that is s good reason to claim something.
Darn right. Can't wait til Feb.
Hell yeah there's a huge amount of demand. I want SIX! ... I'll probably only get one, though.
it's nice to want things
Did you hear about the spokes woman at the vita press conference who said here favorite PS game was super mario. can you imagine that happening the other way around? I know right?
Yeah, they picked Rainie Yang who knows shit about gaming and was just banking on her popularity. I'm sure you can do worse than her.
I know I'm getting one
already pre-ordered the first edition bundle on amazon
What a surprise! Why would Sony be producing a new piece of hardware if they thought there was other than a huge amount of demand? What insight!
I just think Sony and Nintendo are both going about hand-helds in an old fasion way. I see it very much way as the MP3 player. We live in a time where people don't need multiple devices to do multiple things. There is a market for Vita but it's not going to do much in the long run. I'd rather have one device that I can use to make calls, play games, listen to music, create office documents, Skype with relatives, take HD video/pictures and beyond. I got to play a demo of Dead Space on the new Windows Nokia Lumina and it looks amazing. Sony missed a huge opportunity and should have created a device with Android in mind. If it was a Vita-Droid that would have been HUGE. Vita is the next PSP and that is NOT a good thing. @TacoTaru - I don't know, ask them how PSP, Xperia Play or Walkman have worked out for them recenlty. Clearly they have not had really good judgement when it comes to hand held devices for many years.
I agree that they shouldve made a model of vita like the go with phone service on it. Guarantee every gamer and kid who half likes games would want the vita phone. Its still dope as hell but in this day i dont want multiple devices. Carry a phone, a handheld, a laptop, gps, OR one device that can do it all. The phone abilities arent taxing throw it on there along with hdmi out and sales will quadruple.
http://www.reuters.com/arti... -I don't know how Sony can put the longevity of a smartphone with a power of a dedicated handheld device with the type of battery tech we have today, without the device exploding on us but I think there is a reason for Sony buying out Ericsson and ending their cellphone partnership.
Ehhhhh, What would you expect Sony to say? I mean are they going to say there isn't a demand? They want to try and get people hyped for it and maybe get them to pre-order one because they think there will be a run on them and you wont be able to get one. Either that or they polled N4G specifically and bought into the whole "Day one buy!" that people throw out all willy nilly here. I'm not sure how this is news honestly.
i'm buying two.giving one to my good friend
thanks bro I knew you'd get me one. I kid i kid. i already have mine preordered.
This device seems to be doing everything right, i'm not much of a handheld person but it is sure making me excited for the next lot of consoles.
