I'm glad IW is implementing a better patch system compared to the atrocious one in MW2.

Anyone remember how long the Javelin and Care Package glitches lasted? At least 2-3 months. That was ridiculous.

The Meerkat2177d ago

Forgot about that, Yeah the Javelin glitch was awesome.

Where Treyarch has always had Infinity War beat is in community support and fixing problems with their games. Black Ops has been almost incident free since launch. I'll say it's probably the most balanced Call of Duty game released but God, is it boring. Not the Call of Duty formula but the guns and killstreaks. Modern Warfare 2 was a mess but it was so much fun. Can't wait for the madness of MW3.

@StanLee

Absolutely, Treyarch has done a great job with post launch support. 11 patches to date.

Mister_V2177d ago

@ StanLee My thoughts exactly. Even though it was balance and had lots of community support to back it up, I still stopped playing it after just a few months. Guns, killstreaks and the era just didn't do it for me I guess, despite it being so polished.

@StanLee

In some cases, yes. In others, no. WaW is still unplayable if you don't own the DLC. Treyarch never fixed WaW with a patch for non-DLC people to play in non-DLC rooms. As is, DLC maps come up in heavy rotation kicking all non-DLC people out when the map starts.

Well, let's give the new team a chance with MW3, but I'm really looking forward to what Respawn Entertainment is working on.

Mister_V2177d ago (Edited 2177d ago )

Yeah, since they're not going for anything groundbreaking with MW3, I think they really have a chance to make the most polished and balanced CoD yet. Regular updates is
a great start.
