I've seen a lot of grumbling on the forums about the inclusion of the single player campaign, problems with the beta, little bugs which happen in every release. Let me go ahead and assure you right now. This is a good game.
I'm playing it on Hard and I can't get further than Operation Guillotine, cause my screen is white all the time and I can't do anything about it. How do I get further, how is it even possible that after several days this white screen bug hasn't been fixed? It's very annoying, we pay money, but we can't even play the game. Multiplayer on the other hand is very amazing.
Nice review, guys. It's nice to see someone appreciate the single player campaign for what it was, a fun, serious & entertaining romp. I respect the direction DICE decided upon with the story and missions, and while brief and direct, it was refreshing to step away from the typical Michael Bay-ish campaigns the Call of Duty franchise tends to adhere to. I agree with James' view on the 'Going Hunting' mission. I personally had my fully-calibrated home theatre turned right up, the War Tapes sound mode selected, and was genuinely blown away with the attention-to-detail and feeling I got from being catapulted from the aircraft carrier. Good write up, guys!
Good score, I'm liking the campaign very much and I'm not even into military shooters that much. Well done DICE!
I'm really enjoying the single player right now, I should be done with it right in time for Uncharted 3.
should be done with it in about 2-3 hours
