A few months ago MMGN.com asked gamers where they would want the next GTA set. This article certainly has weight no following the announcement of GTA V, so it's the perfect time to reignite the discussion.
Give us New Jersey, so we can kill Snooki.
SOUTH CAROLINA :D JK i would like to see it in Los Angeles as well
It would be nice to have a city and culture outside of America, but of course American games for american gamers, right?
Rockstar North is an American company? News to me...
You got it, foreigner.
Actually no... Rockstar NORTH is a British video game developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Rockstar GAMES is based out of NY. The majority, if not all of the development surrounding GTA titles is out of Edinburgh.
He was being sarcastic.
If I read one more of these "What city?!" stories, I'll retire from the internet. WE'LL SEE NEXT WEEK!
No shit. I'm so sick of these idiots braying on about what they want to see in the game and where it takes place, as if game development doesn't start until a title is announced.
better get your bags packed
something down south like mississippi or lousiana or arkansas, im tired of seeing the norm states and cities in movies games and the media like LA, and LA includes lots of areas in south western california, tired of seeing new york, tired of seeing even detroit and st louis and baltimore and dc, and miami and atlanta and memphis put some other cities on the map this game could start it all, if thats to much to ask atleast put a part of the game in one of these places
That would be very interesting to see.
agreed, and i just happen to be from mississippi and my family too, so...
I think Paris would be perfect to roam around in. It has everything slums, crazy drivers, adult areas (moulin rouge's street), lots of great monuments (eiffel tower, notre dame etc), subways, rivers, tombs etc
Delaware. No seriously, I've always wanted Hawaii. Islands, cities, crime, mountains, beaches, jungles, volcanoes, surfing, hang-gliding, para-sailing, jetskies, sharks you name it. I know Just Cause has sort of taken the wind out of my idea (which I had before JC) but I think R* could still do plenty with this local and put their own spin on it.
Hey, I am from Delaware and the 34 of us don't like you silly gooses talking about The First State like that. God though Wilmington, DE would be a rock solid ghetto and Philly is only 20 mins North on I-95. I personally would like to see DEtroit in the Winter: Activities like Ice Hockey and Fishing, Hunting Arabs, and Canadians Drugs City and Country areas Snow would be cool and I would love some missions involving Christmas
No offence dude. I'm Aussie so I actually know nothing about Delaware. The only reason I've even heard of it is cos of the joke in Waynes World that I just sort of rehashed. Hi, we're in Delaware.
make GTA 5 in VC/SA combined plus make improvements and add more area just imagine a gaming world where its all just a huge map set of sa/vc where you can drive around and do a lot of crazy stuff But i believe saints row 3 is the true sequel to gta:sa but i want RS to make the next gta A FUN EXPERIENCE. Now i know many will reply and say how much fun they had with a serious tone of GTA4 but the only fun part in GTA4 was the bank robbery mission everything else felt like a fest quest I want planes i want jet packs i want the drug deal system of gta chinatown i want to buy/sell property i want to buy dealerships i want to be able to walk it to most buildings and set up shop to snipe people and i want the COP/Swat AI to be smart enough to blow that building into pieces if my wanted star ratings gets that high or come all the way up the stairs and get me i want boats i want secret islands i want CJ back lol i want the RPG elements of SA back i want the frustrating plane missions of GTA:SA RS i want a true GTA game like ps2 days and i want a GTA game that general media hates and blames for all the child crime I want the 80s back i want the 90s back i want a GTA experience that only RS can provide and when you are done making my game move on to RDR 2 i want JM as a playable character even though he died i want him to be alive via a prequel ok good night maybe i want too many things lol
i love the 80s style its very unique also had some of the best music, i was born in the 90s but love 80s and 90s decades.
should be in the bahamas. jus saying it could make a pretty good story, american guy rips off some dealers and brings all the drugs and money to the tax haven and has to escape not only the guys he stole money from but the locals who are wondering who is the new face thats living soo lavish. BOOOM INSTANT HIT :)
SmelL-A aka los angeles, more expansive than san andreas, and after that spin offs and gtavi take it somewhere else, south america or europe london would be fun or just europe in particular would be fun to drive on the left side
Any place except for the ones that already done. I seen nyc too many times in too many games. Boston, chicago, detroit, or even places out of US.
I want VICE CITY
Detroit would be cool, those people are living in mad max times!
How about china, loads of open areas, mountains, the great wall, crazy gunfights in Chineese markets etc
This, or London.
i cant even decide lol i trust rockstar to make the right choice.
Grand Theft Auto V:City Of Juarez............Nuff Said.
back to London or Tokyo,so sick of Los Angeles.
I was thinking of Miami but it might be a bit to much Vice City.
a milk bar
Detroit,New Orleans or St.Louis.All three cities have high crime rates, urban decay, mafia presence, landmarks aplenty and interesting people. Of course,a retread to San Andreas would be as awesome.
