A roundup of the extensive issues on all platforms consumers seem to be having with Battlefield 3.
I tried four times to get into a game on the 360 and it kept saying failed. Should have expected this shit from EA's lousy servers. Guess I'll try again later.
I'm already done with this game. I was apprehensive, but I decided to give it second chance. I bought it and I don't even want to play it anymore. It's a combination of modern military fatigue(putting it lightly), too much hype and a severely buggy, tedious campaign and super turbulent multiplayer (stability wise). I knew this game wasn't ready, it needed more time. I'm back to playing gears and my beloved arkham city. can't wait for Halo anniversary.
traded in that shit already for MW3 for a dollar thank god activision had the presight to do that, i mighta been stuck with this god awful game
It's not a bad game at all. It's just unpolished.
I'll laugh when you get MW3 and the servers are the same as they have been in the past on release, aka not working, and utter crap. Keep using the same rehashed engine, the same stupid crap and enjoy swinging your double shotguns respawn after respawn.
Not to mention the hackers and glitchers.
So much for everyone shi**ing on CoD.
I'm just done with miltary shooters right now, when they do something interesting I'll return. MOAR cyber-punk shooters please.
I have BF3 and Batman just sitting unopened. Damn Dark Souls is sucking all my gaming time.
Put about 9-10 hours into multiplayer, and the only gripe I have is not being able to stick with your squad from the menu to the game. That aside, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Looks like most of the posts above me are just trollin.
Yeah, my only real issue is that it requires you to get into a game when one finishes before you quit, and then on Battlelog, records your quit game percentage. Not very fair considering they FORCE you to quit if you want to go back to the menu, and then you have to see that ugly statistic if you log onto Battlelog.
It's true, the game is very laggy atm and the servers aren't very stable.
Its fine for me.
I enjoyed the mp very much. The servers are laggy and there are glitches her and there but what do you expect for a newly released game? Bad Company 2 had server problems for 3 months after launch. That's what patches are for. The only thing that does bother me is the freeze time before everyone can go run around killing each other at the start of every session. If the server is empty that would be annoying since we have to for other players to join. In BC2 I used empty servers to practice flying the helos so I wouldn't get sneered at or accused as a deliberate equipment waster every time I crashed one in a populated server. I don't see any other way other than learning to fly in the heat of battle with BF3's mp options.
Those Bad Company 2 day 1 people knew this would happen.
