Another MMO going Pay-to-Win. And people continue ravaging of Activision......I'm speechless.

well, every mmo can't be successful.but either way activision/blizzard got the top fps/mmo franchise on the market..

From what I've read this one isn't nearly as bad as others I've played, pretty much if you pay you just get more inventory slots/characters/voice chat/and a few other things. Kinda actually more of a rip off if you pay the monthly sub, I plan on just spending the $5 I have on my account to get "Legendary" membership which doesn't go away and you get more of those things just not as many as people who pay the monthly sub. The only real limits that would hurt the experience are a in-game cash limit and the ability to trade items/cash.

EDIT: Well Activision isn't evil they just like screwing their loyal customers when it comes to CoD because they know CoD is how they post those big earnings at the end of the year.

Seriously though I don't think you get it, the people who pay the sub should get more because they are paying for it (paying for everything that is standard to other subscription based MMO's)....I don't think you understand the F2P model.

So when people complain about ELITE in Call of Duty, as a feature that you get for free in Halo & Battlefield - The exact same thing happening here, is definately allright? I'm talking of voice chat inventory slots and character slots that are fully available in Subscription-based MMO's, but here you have to purchase them?

Yeah, I'm still not buying the "Activision are evil" conspiracy going around.

See you haven't played a lot of F2P MMOs if you think it's 'Pay-to-Win'. The type of things you get in F2P games are based on looks, ease of travel, and increasing your leveling rate as well as buying new mission packs to new areas. None of those are, as you put it, Pay-to-Win, since none of those prevent you from gaining the max level and competing equally with others. It just takes you a lot longer to get to the max level.

I really can't wait to get back into this! I had to buy two subscriptions a month and money has been tight of late so I'm really happy I will be able to play it again.

I was playing and paying Rift. But when Blizzard came out with the year sub for Diablo 3, Rift got dropped like a bad habit.
