Return To San Andreas for GTA V?

Speculation came abound when Rockstar officially announced Grand Theft Auto V, the next entry in the long-running crime series. Of course, most of the speculation came in the form of wondering just where the next numbered game would take place: Boston? London? Moscow?

I hope it goes back to Vice City in the 1980s but we can play the part of Sonny or continue the story with Tommy Vercetti. Ray Liotta is not doing anything now, I am sure he will be more than happy to reprise his role.

In addition to the announcement of GTA V, I hope Rockstar decides to release the Grand Theft Auto trilogy HD remastered collection for PS3 with III, Vice City and San Andreas, to hold us up until this gem comes out

GTA trilogy sounds pretty good. I also can't wait for DMC and Jak trilogies. (:

I doubt Ray Liotta will ever be back to do a voice-over for a Rockstar game. It seemed like he really pissed off Dan Houser after the release of Vice City when he said he should have demanded more money.

About seeing Tommy or CJ or anything like that...

Dan Houser said about GTA IV: "virtually none of the characters from the previous games returned, as a lot of them are dead anyway."

So yeah, Tommy Vercetti is most likely dead.

Ray Liotta is never coming back! There's been a few interviews with the Howsers saying what a peach he was to work with! He was acting like he was too good for it and said; "If I knew how big it was, I would have asked for more money!"

Edit: Larvanian beat me to it!

I heard it'll be set in Los Angeles or Los Santos in GTA which is basically like a quarter of the san andreas map. Who knows? I'd like to play in an updated san andreas again. There was just so much space in there. So many different landscapes and areas.

Personally I thought Los Santos was the most boring part of San Andreas. Vegas and the San Fran city were way cooler.
