The Pixel Review writes: During my recent trip to Comic Con New York, I was able to get my hands on the demo of Capcom’s latest entry into their popular surival horror series, Resident Evil. Resident Evil: Revelations promises a return to classic RE gameplay and story telling. I can confirm that, at the very least, the former is true.
The game’s mechanics feel solid. With rare exception, you may as well be controlling the console versions of Resident Evil 4 or 5. In terms of innovation, Capcom has added a first person view when you look down your sights. If you’re worried that the mechanic will turn this into just another shooter, put those fears to rest. The lack of peripheral vision actually enhances the experience, making the game just a tad bit scarier.
