That's funny because I can't put it on high with a gtx 560...I get about 80 F temps at max and it essentially locks up my computer

There is definitly something wrong with your system then. My friend has a gtx 560ti and runs it maxed out always above 30. I have a hd6970 and run it without hiccups.

*looks at his GTX 560 Ti factory OC at 950*

Letros2460d ago

80 F is cool...even 80 C is not too hot.

Either your system is clogged up with dust or you have a serious bottleneck in there. I have a 460 and can run it basically without any problems on a mixture of high and ultra.

I've got a AMD Quad Core 9950 (2.66 Ghz)...It's a 3 year old computer but if I have to buy a new processor, I probably need a new mobo and at that point, I'll just buy it for consoles return the 560 and roll with my 4850 for Diablo 3 (should run it) and SWTOR (again, should run it...unless I'm just missing the mark)

I've never been a huge fan of paying 200 much less 300 or more for only one game that really needs it

Oh, I've got temps that hit near 84 during BF3...My CPU is at 55 which is lower than it was with the 4850 (added a fan too) so if the graphics card can handle that fine, then I don't really care

Download MSI Afterburner and put your fan speed to max..

I don't get it. I see all these tests that say basically GTX 560and up is ideal to enjoy this game. I can run this game on ultra, full 1650x1080(or something like that) resolution, with my GTX 465.....

whats your CPU?

This game is CPU heavy bc of the Havok physics engine.

Scizz2460d ago

intel core i7- 860 OC'd to 3.2

ECM0NEY2459d ago

you have a good cpu thats why

Red_eyes_Gremlin2460d ago (Edited 2460d ago )

For a 560ti oc 80 is nothing.

The 560ti max temp is set at 85.
I have a 560 and my temp go up to 75 when i play.
65-70 on the maps that aint dusty.

Get the MSI afterburner and put your fans on high speed if needed. But you dont have to worry. I work with gfx cards, so i know what i talk about so you dont have to worry.

560ti = 85c max.
80 = ok
75 = you are fine
50-70 = you dont have to worry a bit.

Dude, i play @ 1920*1080 on high and ultra settings with my freakin HD5850 and no hiccups. This is not one of those articles that says "u need to change the graphic card" right ?? Marketing @ it`s best !!!
