[From BestNintendo3DSGames] As much as I loved Wind Waker and Majora’s Mask (and hated Twilight Princess with its dark, dull, lifeless landscapes), Ocarina of Time will always have a place in my heart as the best game ever made. Until now.
It would be incredible if Skyward sword took the crown from Ocarina of time, not long now =)
I'm as excited as anyone for this game, but for the writer to approach it from a 'I haven't played it yet, but it's time to supplant Ocarina of Time' standpoint is just misguided. My opinion anyway...
Z:SWS has to be relay incredible to top Ocarina of time
The author first states OoT had a sort of "magical" quality as the reason it is such an amazing game. Fine with that, but I guess all it takes are a few glowing reviews to make the author believe Skyward is already the best game ever. Why does Skyward even have to be better than OoT? I'm fine if it's just an amazing game.
I don't mind if it ends up being better, and would actually love that. But people saying such things before they've even played it is a little disturbing.
Skyward Sword+ Motion plus x Nintendo's historic development skills = an epic experience.
I would be surprised if skyward sword wasn't better than ocarina of time, this is the biggest Zelda game to date. And its packed full of content. Edge gave it a 10db and I've heard nothing but good things from it. I can't wait to play it for myself
day one download:)
You're why we have DRM.
I shall hold my opinion until I play the game. Also, I seem to be the only dood who thinks of Majora's before OoT.
Nah, lots of people prefer MM to OOT. It just didn't get as widely publicised and thus is not regarded as the better game. Plus I think it pissed off some Zelda purists.
Ocarina of Time was dethroned a long time ago. It lives on nostalgia, that's it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Skyward Sword does turn out to be better than Ocarina of Time, but don't count it dominating like Oot did 11-12 years ago.Gaming has come a long way since then and only Nintendo fanboys hold onto it because of Nostalgia. It was great for it's era,but there are literally hundreds of games that provide a better experiance than Nintendo games. You need a deep story to craft a real experiance, but story has never really been Nintendo's strong suit.I know some Ninty fanboys will no doubt play the "FPSCOD" Bs,but you cannot challenge fact. Still,Skyward Sword is the only Wii game I've pre-ordered in 2011 and I do expect to enjoy it a lot more than Twilight Princess.Glad I bought the Motionplus long ago and hopefully control will be right up my alley.
