Sony has outlined the first crop of PlayStation Vita games that will require a memory card and what the means for future DLC. So far, the list is short but significant.
Kotaku updated their article so it doesn't mean that Games that have their saves on the game card won't get dlc.
Correct. It is mentioned in the english PS Vita FAQ as well: Q: What kind of game medium will PS Vita support? What is the official name? Why did you decide to introduce it? A: It is a small flash memory based card, dedicated for PS Vita. Taking advantage of the flash memory feature, this innovative card can store add-on game content or the game save directly on the card. By adopting flash memory based card, SCE will be able to provide game cards with higher capacity in the future, allowing developers to store more game data to deliver rich, immersive games. We will announce the official name at a later date.
I don't know why Sony has to be so secretive about the name, lol.
They probably don't have one yet.
Too bad the Iphone 4s has already made the Vita irrelevant.
you really can't be that ignorant... surely
He's trolling for fun because that's what gives him the rush to get through each day. Check out his bio.. some people are just unbelievable!
thanks for the morning lols !
That just made my night, thanks for the laugh.
Dude, the iphone 4s couldnt even make my 20 year old original Nintendo Gameboy irrelevant.
The iphone4s is a joke for gaming compared to the vita. The iPhone's GPU and CPU are weak compared to the vita plus the lack of core gaming controls ruins the possibility of having core games on it. The XperiaPlay is more capable of playing core games than the iPhone4s. Also the Vita is 250 euros versus the 700 euro's of the iPhone. XperiaRay
"The iPhone's GPU and CPU are weak compared to the vita plus the lack of core gaming controls ruins the possibility of having core games on it. The XperiaPlay is more capable of playing core games than the iPhone4s." I would not go so far as to say it's weak, as a matter of fact the Iphone 4S is quite capable as is the Xperia-play Snapdragon CPU an GPU for gaming. but you are correct vs' the PSVita Arm core chipset, the Iphone 4s an the Xperia Play has no way near the the Vita's chipset capabilities. iPhone 4s chipset is the Qualcomm MDM6610 which is the slight upgrade to the iPhone 4 chipset the new one runs a duel core 1.2 GHz. as for it's GPU SGX543MP2 GPU this is the exact same core GPU chipset that's in the PSVita but it's the 2 core GPU instead of the 4 core ver that's in the PSVita. the Ram is 512MB of system ram for the iPhone 4S which is the same for the PSVita but the PSVita also has 128 MB of video GPU Ram too boot. http://www.electronista.com... So even though the iPhone 4S is sporting no physical controls like the PSVita, it's still sporting some powerful hardware. though as you stated, the Xperia-Play has better control's over the iPhone 4 but the Xperia Play's GPU is not in the same level of the GPU that's in the iPhone 4S let alone the PSVita. Which is not really a problem the Xperia-Play is still more robust Hardware than even the PSP an you already seen what the PSP could do..that Adreno 205 GPU that's in the Xperia-Play is no slouch. Example:Desert Winds by south bend an using the xperia play with TV out http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Doesn't matter, I'm getting a mmc anyway.
