Can Medal of Honor Be Saved?

Chris from Fangwheel writes:
"There have been a lot of World War II influenced shooters since the time the original Medal of Honor was released. In 1999, outside of Wolfenstein and Doom clones; Medal of Honor was the real next evolutional step for the FPS genre. With its engaging storytelling, the non-stop action of a Hollywood blockbuster war movie and a soundtrack that was cleverly constructed by none other than Michael Giacchino (he scored soundtracks such as television’s Lost and Pixar’s 2009 hit Up); Steven Spielberg and his DreamWorks Interactive studio (who Spielberg later sold to EA and went on to become EA Los Angeles) crafted a masterpiece that truly comes once a generation. Can the classic franchise regain some of its honor?"

I loved the last Medal of Honor so as far as I'm concerned, they're on the right path.

Exactly. It may not have been the best graphical master piece, but the campaign was fantastic. I just beat it again on hard las week. The multiplayer aspect could use some work but I thought it was a great game. If anyone hasn't played it yet you can pick it up at walmart for $20.

I think it looks fine. People make way too much of deal about graphics nowadays. I've been gaming since the 80's so for me, watching games advance and change as much as they have makes me appreciate it more. Too me, almost everything looks good.

I don't think people make too big a deal about graphics. We have the hardware to make games look like Uncharted 3 and Gears 3 but we still have devs. that make games that look like last days. That just shows no effort at all. I used to game with my bro on our atari and I remember the commadore 64 looking good to me (lol). It just comes to a point where the tech allows us to do so much and gamers should expect that little extra effort.
