NowGamer: Analyst Jesse Divnich predicts big things for GTA 5.
Well to be honest, after Just Cause 2 the bar was raised on open world games. I hope it will be a HUGE map, multiple cities and not on a flatland like every other GTA before. Let's add some mountains, forests and stuff. Let us fly airplanes again. Add in a good story and it's all set.
Just Cause 2 had an amazing world and was so much fun to play.
True enough man. What's Just Cause 3 going to be like o.0
EARTH! Or at least an entire continent :P
GTAIV is the highest rated game this generation and sales rocketed to 17 million, i think it's only to be expected that GTAV will be even bigger!
22.5 Million units sold to date plus lets not forget Gta IV was released when ps3 and 360 was at 25 million units each and now its over 50 million each so Gta V could sell over 30 million units.
I wonder how many of them were the PC version? (5-6 million maybe would be my guess) I just got it with all other GTA games (except London) and with Episodes from Liberty City for just £5!!! I'll bet a load of other Steam users did too. It has been at some nice low prices before too.
thinking but l doubt it. gta4 was screwed up and allowed other games to steal some spotlight. l know l wont get gta5 And gaming has moved past that style of play
Don't give a rats ass about exclusive and sales numbers, rockstar has never let me down with any of the games from them and i trust they will make GTAV the best Open World game we have seen so far. That being said, am still going to love the Saints Row series
I'd like to see Rockstar bring the Bully franchise back.
If there's one game that deserves to break records its GTA. I hope its in san andreas and it would be awesome if you can travel to vice city XD. It should be possible vice city isnt that big, san sndreas is though, but look at how big the RDR map is
Honestly, I don't think GTA is top dog anymore. I don't think even GTA V can topple COD now, COD has usurped it in the hearts and minds of young and old alike, most certainly in the "casual" (ie. only interested in the mainstream) market. It'll certainly have a fight on its hands.
Actually GTA is that series that has that potential. If anything I see so many kids asking their parents to buy a game in the series or asking questions when a new one is coming out.
GTA is just as mainstream as CoD, or at least was. We really haven't seen a major installment since right after the CoD series picked up steam.
All i want is same release date for for all 3 platforms. i f**kin hate it when PC version is delayed by 6months!! maybe 2 months to add an extra feature like in-game recorder is fine.
I am going to stay far, far, away from the GTA hype train this time around. I don't think I was ever so excited for a game only to be so completely let down once I actually got my hands on GTA IV. As far as that goes, GTA III & Vice City are really the only GTA games I actually enjoyed. San Andreas might have been fun if it hadn't been so 'ghetto' though.
I hope this game will be more than just hype unlike gta 4. that was one of the worse games this gen.
You're talking about the highest rated game this gen lol. Gta 4 might not live up to everyone's expectation but it sure was a great game.
All we got was a pic and a date and the hype is already through the roof.
