The Pixel Review writes: Hyperbole is common in this industry. Countless times a reviewer will sell me on a game that is ultimately not my cup of tea. I’m inclined to wonder, are their words a fair representation of their feelings or are they merely present to punch up the quality of their review? I suppose we’re forced to assume the former. Such is life.
I want to assure you that, in the case of Wakfu, I am being entirely on the level. I was recently treated to a tragically brief moment playing the game with one of its developers. I realize that it’s hard to justify my enthusiasm having said that, but I’m genuinely enamored. Even on the conceptual level, I’m sold. After seeing it in practice, I’m double sold.
