The next MK, should bring back the DC characters, as well as Streetfighter, Marvel characters, Tekken & Soul Calibre....Like SF vs Tekken, these series amalgamations are a bug factor in keeping the fighter genre alive....I know for me, unless they start doing this kind of thing & changing up the gameplay to make these fighting games a bit different & more & more out there, I will become less & less interested in the genre. I mean as much praise as SFIV gets from media & gamers, I just think it's the same old damn thing with a fresh coat of paint. And Soul Calibre IV suffered the same, but worse.....same with DOA, Tekken & VF4.

MK vs DC & the latest MK really saved the fighting genre for me, as both went for different gameplay to each other & the MK before them.. They switched up the gameplay enough to make it feel awesomely new, but also familiar. If they can now get a few series altogether in the same game, with full hardcore fatalities & such, then that is the only way forward for the genre with me.

The fighting genre has always been a firm favorite for me, ever since the 16bit Sega/Nintendo domination days, it got even better with PS1/Saturn with Tekken, Soul Edge, Tobal 2 amongst other great 3d fighters...But the funny part is, that after Tekken Tag Tournament that launched with PS2, the fun factor was quickly draining from the genre...It was stalemating fast, & badly. And some of these awesome games need a serious overhaul, as they have awesome characters & premise & I really hate to see them going flat.

I wish they had more DLC characters....I knew it when Freddy came out that they wouldn't do more DLC characters for this game...

Everyone kept saying they would release more and that Freddy was worth it- I couldn't disagree more. Would have preferred a Killer Instinct character instead.

Freddy seemed like a waste. Why couldnt they have just included one more iconic MK character? Hopefully they really think about it more carefully next time.

Oh, and hopefully they make a MKvsTekken
