Batman: Arkham City Review [MediaStinger]

MediaStinger: "Breaking the cycle of bad video games based on films and comics, Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Asylum was loved universally by both critics and fans alike. Released the same year as Christopher Nolan’s Batman sequel in 2009, Arkham Asylum surprisingly had no tie-ins with The Dark Knight and was a standalone story in the Batman franchise. Naturally, with the success of Arkham Aslyum, Rocksteady is back with the Caped Crusader’s latest adventure, Batman: Arkham City, an open world take on the Arkham series that’s worthy of challenging Nolan’s films to see who the real Batman truly is."

couldn't hit the agree button enough

i don't know if i would say it was way better.

they have improved little that feel like they have made the game more epic in terms of gameplay and combat.

in terms of the story though there is a lot about the first that I felt was just as good and I think the story was a bit better IMO.

I actually prefer Asylum. It was a tighter more focused affair. Better (and longer) story as well with better boss battles. Arkham City is great but I was disapointed in the story and some of the boss fights were weak.

I feel they sacrificed to much to create a larger environment. Nice to see the Mad Hatter though.

I prefered Asylum too. Review is right and Arkham City doesn't tell as good of a story.

I'll be the Green Lantern but you can't both be Batman.
