Check out more new screenshots of SoulCalibur V.
ok, that looks a bit silly. @zerocrossing I was not referring to how "fantasy" it looks. They are showing more skin this time up to the point that looks neither sexy or even fantasy as you say.
Given the over saturation of "realism" in mainstream games today, a little fantasy is welcome imo.
Oh OK, yeah I see what you mean. Well Soulcalibur has been referred to as being a little too "Hentai" before since Soulcalibur II (seems like some of the devs have a perverse sense of detail) so I see where you're coming from, still it looks like its shaping up to be a solid game to me.
well, it looks like they're trying too hard to make her look sexy, but it's not really working IMO. I guess the traditional chinese dresses from way back in the days were meant to cover more skin. The thing is, if I really wanted to show more skin, I wouldn't really do it the way developers did. It just looks odd to me. Maybe it's the color or the flower motives around the arms and then the weird see through cloth trying to cover the short shorts. I also don't like the socks and shoes because they don't seem to match well. http://8wayrun.com/attachme... http://8wayrun.com/attachme... I prefer those instead.
I dont see how . Tell me how does the new girl in this instance show more than Xianghua on both of those two older soulcalibur outfits and designs ? http://8wayrun.com/attachme... http://8wayrun.com/attachme... It's sc4 that's gone crazy with the boobs , otherwise , themes and skin exposure are vastly the same through soul calibur's history (notice i mention soul calibur not soul blade) . Again boob aside in sc4 , even Ivy is pretty much the same , wear wise . http://8wayrun.com/attachme... http://8wayrun.com/attachme... http://8wayrun.com/attachme... Hell ivy even gaining outfits that arent obvious s&m fun over the years like : http://8wayrun.com/attachme...
Agreed. If anything the new girl is less sexually provocative.
