OXM: Assassin's Creed: Revelations - How it could fail

OXM UK: "Finally getting a chance to go hands-on with the single player, we discovered that our initial enthusiasm was justified... for the most part. Revelations has the makings of another great game, but it leaves us a little worried in a couple of ways, and utterly baffled in one."

The story is too old to be commented.

If you play the series for its story then there are no worries, unless they destroy it in some way. Of course not all may agree with the story and its outcome but the joy is the quest (until the end) in itself.

Exactly, a lot of people are getting sick of this series and it just makes me think.

Are many people even aware that it's story driven? They could have 6 month cycles for all I care, as long as the story holds up it's a masterpiece in my eyes.

I have no interest at all in the Sci-Fi story or Modern crap. The historical part of the game is all that I care about. I have zero interest in Desmond.

I am very interested in the new tower defense battles. I think its a good thing Ubisoft continues to add more, and more different types of gameplay.

Fair enough. I'm kinda surprised that I overlooked the historic aspect as I enjoy it as well. LOL

I find it confusing when people say they are sick of Ezio. I mean, arent you sick of Mario, Link, Nathan Drake, Kratos or even Solid Snake after 2 games? No, so why Ezio? He's, if anything, the flagship character of the Assassin's Creed series, more so than the main character Desmond or the Master Assassin Altair.

Why else would Ezio be featured in Soul Calibur V?
