GamesRadar reports: "NFL Blitz shouldn't be rated M! It's not about shattering legs or rupturing scrotums (an actual tackle in Blitz: The League II). Blitz is about big throws, big plays, and big hits - especially big, late hits.
But once the game was announced, rumors started circulating that the game would be losing said late hits at the hands of the NFL, who now had their hands back in the pot. According to project lead Dave Ross, while it may end up being the case eventually, it's not set in stone just yet..."
It seems now is the time to capitalise on a renewed acceptance of, dare we say it, the video game side of sports video games, and here are five classic arcade titles that really need to come back.

When NFL Blitz rebooted under EA Sports in 2012, with the franchise's creator back on the case, it lacked nearly all of the oomph that made the 1997 original so appealing, even to non-sports fans. No late hits, no over-the-top bodyslams. Quarterbacks weren't really sacked so much as they were shoved to the ground. Receivers were hip-checked and stumbled to the turf.
It wouldn't be NFL Blitz without late hits.
They should just stay unlicensed if I can't crack foo's after the whistle its not blitz!
