Review: Jamestown (GamingDead)

GamingDead: "They say history is written by the victors. I say history is whatever you want it to be. My “history” involves beam cannons.

Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony is a wild retelling of the colonial expansion into the new world during the 17th century by game creators Final Form Games. Of coarse, by “new world” I mean “Mars” and by “wild retelling” I actually mean “bad ass”. At some previous to the 1600′s humanity took about a 700 year leap in technology and England decided to colonize mars. Problem is Spain did too and that’s bad news. Spain also allied with the martians. Again: Bad News. Good News is, though, that you arrived on mars a clean cut, fresh faced fugitive, aka Raleigh, from England and you’re willing to do just about anything to clear your name. Things such as find out what happened to the lost colony of Roanoke. Sounds easy right? Wrong!" (Jamestown, Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony, PC) 5/5
