Black Friday Ads: Gamer Deals 2011 List Kicks Off

GamerDeals.net:

"So what is Black Friday?

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, where it is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employers give the day off, increasing the number of potential shoppers. Many retailers open very early (typically 5 am or even earlier) and offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to draw people to their stores.

In many cities it is not uncommon to see shoppers lined up hours before stores with big sales open. Once inside, the stores shoppers often rush and grab, as many stores have only a few of the big draw items.

Gamer Deals updated list...

Our approach will be simple... to keep down the clutter, we won't list items in the ads that are at full retail price (unfortunately, too many). We will also organize and group the items by game platform. Many deals will be available both in-store and on-line this year.

We will continually update this list as more ad scans are leaked and online deals becomes available leading up to the big day... If you happen to stumble upon an ad or Black Friday deal info, feel free to let up know!"

Went to my first black friday last year and there are some serious shoppers out there. They brought out the chairs, blankets, coolers and just sat in line when I got there. Although it was worth the frigid air for 40% a surround sound stereo. Ill probably go back this year to upgrade it :D

I remember on black Friday this one store was selling the ps3 for 250 and the original price at the time was 400. The store only had 8 and this guy was lucky to get one holding it by the plastic rope on top (Biggest Mistake)
This other guy ran and grab the box like there was no tomorrow. I was like OH S***
This was my first time too. I was like, "new yorkers don't play that"

I wonder what people would do if a store like walmart put the macbook air for 500 or 600 dollars instead of 1200 limited with only 10.

This year since I can't afford Rage, Batman AC, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, MW3, and AC Revelations each week after week. I gonna drop some money. It would kill me more if there is something other than a video game that I would want. Biggest I spend on Black Friday $980

I'll stay up til midnight and order stuff online. No reason to line up with the psychos who will trample someone to death for 30% off a toaster oven.

By end of the year just euthanize your wallet after the pain of emptiness and withdraw all your fund for November
