I am definitely buying this game this Friday. I don't trust Gamespots reviews. That started when they gave "Black" 7.0. Lucky for me at that time is that I bought the game loved it before I checked the ratings..
If I were to rate black I'd give it 9.5 period. I also played halo 2 and thought black is more realistic... I hope they'll make black 2 for either console.. that will be great.

Random site A id more crediable than Gamespot.
You fanboys are really trying to not face the music.
Gamespot is a great site. Just because your favorite game got a low score from them, doesn't mean they are biased or paid by MS. IF they gave uncharted a 10 we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Sony defense force FTW!!!

Most of the "larger" sites, are owned by a very few companies. These companies also have partnerships, and a user base they need to keep happy. Its like politics. Next time you are on a "large" site, go down to the bottom and look at the investor relations, and brands area...

CNET actually owns: gamestop, gamerankings, metacritic, gamefaqs, ZDNET etc...
Microsoft is a partner with CNET.

Beyond that, many of these "media" companies are nothing more that investment house owned companies, and run by the same for boards of directors...

Beyond this, is the fact that actual gamers who have played this game, KNOW that the gamespot scores are biased. I mean, if you watch the ME video review, and look at how much he complained about ME, it makes you wonder how it could of gotten above a 7... go watch it yourself...

Bias exists, it's known...

but -but - this can't be triple A because metacritic score is 89.99999999% and also because the guy who normally review sports game on gamespot - who doesn't like third person shooters - says it sucks donkey balls.
