It's all about the melody - that's why older games have the best soundtracks, because when you only have three layers of sound to work with you have to make those layers count. I mean, you can't even hum anything in FFXIII.
The new game Rochard has some of the best XMB music. PS3 users know about moving over a game on the XMB and a wallpaper and sound from the music pops up, most games are really loud an obnoxious, but Rochard has some sweet riffs. I will let that just play in the background.
