Ubisoft may have created the most mind-blowing media review copy ever with Rocksmith. This video shows all that comes to the media straight from Ubisoft.
Aw sweet - is that a real guitar?
Yes, that's a real guitar. The selling point of Rocksmith is that you can use a real electric guitar to play the game. If you own one, chances are it'll work perfectly with the game.
Now SMASH THE GUITAR
There is a decent amount of Kyle-crotch in this video. Just lettin' you know, ladies.
im jealous he gets a free game but he dont seem like much of a reviewer ... ... ...(maybe i should start a review site just for the free games .. .. ..)
Poke around TGV's review section. Kyle's reviewed Duke Nukem Forever, Pokemon Black/White, Hard Corps: Uprising, DC Universe Online, XMen Arcade, Marvel Pinball, Worms: Battle Islands, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Colors, Aqua Panic, Rock Band 3, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, Super Scribblenauts, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Alien Breed 2: Assault, Metroid: Other M, and Scrap Metal. All of which are detailed, thoughtful reviews. And that's just through the first few pages of reviews on the site.
I'm more of a reviewer than you think, buddy.
i have been looking forward to this... but looks like Australia will be getting this behind the US and UK as usual! Better than not at all though. I'd order from the US, but then I'd need to get all the DLC via the US store.
Pro-Reviewer Tip: Next time clean your f-ing room first. lol. Just kiddin', man. I wish I had the scratch to buy a $2,000 Les Paul to play it with. Game will be dope no doubt and I love that it actually makes you a better guitar player for reals.
I was too excited! I didn't have any time to clean! Also, $2,000?! The game will work with any electric guitar (as long as it's in playable condition) and the guitar bundle is $200. I should have my review up on launch day, if not the Monday right before.
Would be awesome if the game also supported real drums. Maybe Rocksmith 2...
I want publishers to send me sweet swag with my review copies
That's an amazing amount of stuff for the price. Looks like a solid purchase.
That's some swag you got there. Minor tip for your next unboxing video: have someone hold the camera for you. It got very disorienting at several point there. Man, maybe I should buy Rocksmith now, so I can learn guitar well enough to pick up women.
